Dave Reid on his Drupal 7 core and contrib work

Dave Reid is one of the top Drupal 7 core contributors and has his hand in maintaining or co-maintaining nearly 50 contributed modules. Reid is the Drupal 7 maintainer of the contact module, statistics module, and the token system as well as co-maintainer of the path system and the update module. He talks about some of the new APIs that he helped work on such as hook_url_inbound_alter, hook_url_outbound_alter and a series of hook_modules_* functions that can trigger actions after modules are either enabled, disabled, installed or uninstalled. At the time of this recording at DrupalCon San Francisco, Dave was a freelance developer, but since that time he has taken a full-time developer position at Palantir.
