Kris Konrady is a highly collaborative HR generalist providing insight and guidance to company leadership on a variety of issues, including professional development, compensation strategy, performance management, benefits analysis, payroll administration, and employee relations. Kris uses her creativity to resolve not technical challenges, but human ones. Her passion is to use her insights and strengths to engineer real change in others’ lives, to learn and grow alongside the people she is helping, and contribute to the well-being of the company on a personal level. Her work includes establishing company policies and procedures, ensuring those policies follow employment laws, engaging and developing team members, and cultivating ideas to help meet future HR needs. She also maintains much of the bookkeeping and expense reporting for Lullabot.
Kris has a BA in theology and certificates in bookkeeping and human resources management. Her background in facilities and retail management has given her 15+ years and a variety of experience in the functional aspects of bookkeeping and HR. She enjoys contributing that experience to the Lullabot team.
In her free time, Kris likes to hike, camp, bake, read, and sit around a campfire eating good food and sharing good conversation with friends. She loves all the seasons in the Midwest and is grateful that her hubby makes her laugh every single day.
Kris grew up fishing and camping with her family. She became a certified Wilderness First Responder and lifeguard to spend a college summer leading camping trips for girls aged 7-15. She thinks food tastes better when eaten in the great outdoors.
