Kris is a collaborative human resources generalist who uses her creativity to resolve not technical challenges, but human ones. Her passion is to help engineer real change in others’ lives, to learn and grow alongside the people she is helping, and contribute to the well-being of the company on a personal level. Her work includes establishing company policies and procedures, engaging and developing team members, compensation strategy, performance management, benefits analysis, payroll administration, and cultivating ideas to help meet future HR needs. 

Kris has a bachelor's degree in theology and certificates in bookkeeping and human resources management. Her background in facilities and retail management has given her almost 20 years of experience in the operational aspects of HR. She enjoys contributing that experience to the Lullabot team.

In her free time, Kris likes to hike, camp, bake, read, and sit around a campfire eating good food and sharing good conversations with friends. She loves all the seasons in the Midwest and is grateful that her hubby makes her laugh every day.

Did you know?

Kris grew up fishing and camping with her family and was a certified Wilderness First Responder who led camping trips for girls. She thinks food tastes better when eaten in the great outdoors.
