Imogen Hoyle

Senior Content Strategist

Imogen specializes in content strategy, information architecture, and data-driven decision-making for large, complex web ecosystems. She previously worked inside state government, where she led content strategy for North Carolina’s Digital Commons platform, earning a State Government Experience Award and delivering measurable improvements in usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.

Imogen brings a strong data-driven approach to her work, using analytics, user research, and accessibility insights to improve findability and engagement at scale. Her background spans statewide website consolidation, public-sector digital transformation, and content programs that have driven significant growth in traffic, attendance, and membership.

Imogen holds a Ph.D. with a focus on Statistical Analysis and pairs her research background with UX, analytics, and CMS expertise. Originally from the UK, she now lives in Toronto, Canada, with her husband, kids, and a very patient dog, leaving little time for hobbies, but plenty of real-world perspective.

Did you know?

Imogen has sailed the Caribbean teaching marine biology, worked as a field assistant studying Great White Sharks in South Africa, and somehow ended up helping North Carolina government agencies navigate the digital world. Turns out content strategy and marine research both require careful observation, pattern recognition, and the ability to stay calm when things get murky.
