Erin Schroeder

Senior Content Strategist

Cedar Rapids, IA

Erin is a content strategist with a rare combination of strategic prowess and a background in journalism. Clients including IBM, the State of Massachusetts, and Dartmouth Health & Geisel School of Medicine Giving have benefitted from Erin’s ability to make content easier to find and understand while aligning with stakeholder goals.

Before joining Lullabot, Erin worked as a senior content strategist at Geonetric, developing website and intranet content strategies, information architecture, and UX analyses for healthcare organizations coast-to-coast. She’s proud of her work with UNC Health, Altru Health System, and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.

As a journalist, Erin has spent more than a decade covering the Quad-Cities of Iowa and Illinois, with a stint teaching news writing and photojournalism at Scott Community College while managing the campus newspaper and a team of student journalists. Ever the writer, you may run into her waxing poetic about content strategy and user experience here at Lullabot.com, UX Collective, and UX Booth.

Erin lives in Cedar Rapids, IA with her husband, Andrew, and cat, Otis. When she’s not “content strategizing,” you’ll find her reading, crocheting, collecting (and listening to) vinyl records, paddling Iowa lakes in her kayak, and helping friends with Beatles trivia.

Did you know?

Erin is a second-generation “Beatlemaniac” thanks to her mom. If you need someone on speed dial for a Beatles pub trivia night, Erin’s your girl.
