Miguel Jacq (aka mig5) gives some updates on the latest version of the Aegir Hosting System. He talks about how you can use the Aegir migrate, clone, provision and deploy functionality to copy a live site to a development server, and how it could assist in the deployment process. Aegir isn't providing a complete solution to the deployment issue, but providing some tools that might be helpful for some situations. Jacq also talks a bit about how the development of drush is connected to the evolution of Aegir.
