Drupal Voices 09: Greg Dunlap on the Deploy module
Listen online:
- DrupalVoices009.mp3
This week on Drupal Voices we're going to be giving a brief introduction to a number of up-and-coming modules in the realm of deployment, configuration management and migration. This is a particular pain point within Drupal -- and the web at large -- in trying to keep the development server and live server synced up with all of the latest dynamically-created content.
We're starting off with the Deploy module written by Greg Dunlap of Palantir.net.

DBscripts
Greg mentioned Kathleen Murtagh's dbscripts module from the deployment panel. I don't know who you have queued up for the remainder of the interviews but here's a quick update. DBscripts is upgraded and tested for Drupal 6 and, most recently, SVN as well as Git.
