Very informative!

Lots of great bits in between the long pauses. Was downloading many new modules and drinking coffee at the same time. Great to have a 'webchicks' perspective on the 'cast too.

The TWIT beta looks great! Good luck with the official launch.

Audio module RSS is not clean

Hey guys

Thanks for the podcast, the many modules, and bringing style to Drupal themes. Are you planning a West Coast theme building training session? Please do consider it. I would definitely attend.

You'll notice that since you've employed the Audio Module your podcast feed items are picking up extraneous code from the flash player that is displayed in a number of newsreaders, including iTunes. I had that problem too and after lots of rooting around I found that using stories with attachments is the cleanest way to go using Drupal...at least for now.

drewish responded to this problem a while back on drupal.org, saying...

"it's a problem with the way drupal builds rss items. you can read more about it here: http://drupal.org/node/41703 "

Thanks again for everything. Long live Lullabot.

Noticed That

Yeah, I've been thinking about extending Content Template module to address this issue. It would work if you could have separately enable-able templates for teaser, body, and RSS feed, which, I believe would be possible.

Well, it's been fixed in HEAD...

Yeah, that's an annoying bug. As the subject says, it's fixed in HEAD. The easiest fix for 4.7 is to apply the patch on issue #41703. I just posted a new patch to make sure it applies cleanly for 4.7.

which 17

Is it possible for you to provide a written list of the 17 modules on this page? Thank you.

Matt's book

Hey guys... another great show.
I don't remember if this is the one where you talked about Matt's new book or not... but...
Any info on when that will be released? Sounds great!
I'm new to drupal and am amazed at the power... and I really appreciate the podcasts/videocasts/articles that "ya'll" are providing... they're a great help!

Thanks!

"Long Live Lullabot!" :)

What about feedback module?

The feedback module is clean, simple, and hides your email address from screen scrapers.

I'm still pretty new to the Drupal game and I'm still getting my feet wet. Thanks for the podcast. It really helps.

Module list

A list of the modules, with links, would be fantastic - any chance of getting one? Keep up the great work! Love the podcast!

The book what about the book

I'd love to see this book, are there snippets available already?

CCK taxonomies

CCK with views indeed seams to be a killek combination. But are you not able to assign categories (taxonomy/term) to CCK content types?

What about the webform module?

I loved the list of favorite modules. I use many of them already but was turned onto a few new possibilities. Thanks.

However, your list missed one of my favorite and most used modules - the webform. This module allows you to create a custom contact form or survey flexinode style. It is really efficient to use and comes with nice extras such as CVS export, report tracking, capatcha etc... If you haven't checked it out yet you really should.

Thanks for the Podcast and keep them coming.
Rick
