Angie Byron

Angie Byron is a web architect and the latest addition to Team Lullabot. She comes to us after her work with CivicSpace Labs, where she focused on improving Drupal's documentation, usability, and community features. Part of this work involved substantial contributions to the Organic Groups module.

She first became engrossed with technology and all it had to offer in 1995, and over the years has become somewhat of a "geek of all trades" with experience in databases, web technologies, application development, systems administration, technical writing, training, and computer hardware. She also has a passion for teaching and loves breaking complex technical subjects down so they are easy to understand.

Angie originally came to Drupal as a Google Summer of Code student and has since immersed herself in as many different facets of the community as possible. She is a part of both Drupal's documentation team and security team, she has made several contributions to developer documentation, such as the Form API reference, and she is a respected core patch tester. She also contributes patches of her own whenever she can; the core patch she originally cut her teeth on was 133K.

When Angie's not geeking out... well, actually there are no known records of Angie not geeking out. ;) Though it's been said that she sometimes pries herself away from the computer long enough to read a book or two, satiate her sudoku obsession, doodle goofy pictures, or play some video games.

Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, Angie now lives in Montréal, Québec, Canada, Canada with her wife Marci and their four kids: Pickle, Cooper, Bebop, and Oscar.
