Drupal Voices 126: Nick Lewis on Metaphors for Understanding Drupal

Listen online:

Nick Lewis is a long-time Drupal developer who provides some interesting metaphors for how to understand "The Drupal Way" including the developer as a doctor, the Mother Drupal ecosystem, modules as life forms, Asteroids that change everything in Drupal, Drupal Frankensites and Drupal Hell. Nick has an amazing talent for boiling down perennial web development problems into a simple image that can help us gain perspective and better understand the process of building a Drupal web site. Some of the modules that he mentions are the Display Suite and the Skinr module.

Nick is pretty much my hero.

Nick Lewis, another Drupal Voices classic!

I really got a lot out of this DV podcast. Thanks heaps Jeff for interviewing Nick. He is a really great geeky combination of dev. insight and entertainment. A classic Drupal community "character", I'll be following his blog from now on. Keep up the great work!
Cheers, John
