In this episode [Addison Berry](https://www.lullabot.com/who-we-are/addison-berry) talks with special guest Will Hetherington (from [NetroMedia](http://www.netromedia.com/)), along with Lullabots [Joe Shindelar](https://www.lullabot.com/who-we-are/joe-shindelar) and [Ben Chavet](https://www.lullabot.com/about/ben-chavet), about content delivery networks, otherwise known as CDNs. The term is thrown around quite a lot, especially when talking about ways to improve your site performance, but what exactly is a CDN and how do they work? We talk about the basic concepts of a CDN, the impact that can have on a website, and we nerd out on some neat network tools. In the process we also talk a bit about how the Drupalize.Me CDN is set up.
