Ryan Szrama of [Commerce Guys](https://commerceguys.com/) gives an update on the [Drupal Commerce](http://drupal.org/project/commerce) module and future of e-commerce in Drupal 7. Szrama [explained last year](https://www.lullabot.com/podcasts/drupal-voices-108-ryan-szrama-ubercart-drupal-commerce) how Drupal Commerce was a fork of the [Ubercart](https://www.ubercart.org:443/nai) e-commerce module.

Right before DrupalCon, there was an [initial beta release for Drupal Commerce](https://commerceguys.com/about-us/news/unveiling-drupal-commerce-beta) that was announced, and there was a [third beta release](https://commerceguys.com/about-us/news/drupal-commerce-7x-10-beta3-released) that was announce this past week.

Szrama talks about [Views](http://drupal.org/project/views) and [Rules](http://drupal.org/project/rules) integration, the state of the e-commerce contrib modules, pending Commerce Guys plans for products & services as well as the upgrade path for Ubercart.
