[Robert Douglass](http://drupal.org/user/5449) talks about his experiences with Drupal's Internationalization and localization systems through the [Internationalization (I18n) module](http://drupal.org/project/i18n) and [ICanLocalize Translator module,](http://drupal.org/project/icanlocalize) which integrates with the [ICanLocalize.com translation service.](https://www.icanlocalize.com/site/) He also talks about some of his lessons learned, and how the i18n process could still be improved in Drupal 8.
