[Miguel Jacq](https://mig5.net/) (aka [mig5](http://drupal.org/user/153206)) gives some updates on the latest version of the [Aegir Hosting System.](http://groups.drupal.org/aegir-hosting-system) He talks about how you can use the Aegir migrate, clone, provision and deploy functionality to copy a live site to a development server, and how it could assist in the deployment process. Aegir isn't providing a complete solution to the deployment issue, but providing some tools that might be helpful for some situations. Jacq also talks a bit about how the development of [drush](http://drupal.org/project/drush) is connected to the evolution of Aegir.
