[Jeff Miccolis](https://developmentseed.org/team/jeff-miccolis/) of [Development Seed](https://developmentseed.org/) talks about the open data site that they created for the World Bank at http://data.worldbank.org. He talks about some of the modules that they used to create the site such as [Features](http://drupal.org/project/features), [Context](http://drupal.org/project/context), [Views 3](http://drupal.org/project/views), and open source visualization tools like [OpenLayers](https://openlayers.org/) and [Flot](https://code.google.com/archive/p/flot) (which is a jQuery library alternative to Flash). The maps are powered by a combination of [MapBox](https://www.mapbox.com/) using [TileMill](https://www.mapbox.com/tools/tilemill) and served with [OpenLayers](https://openlayers.org/). For more information, be sure to check out [the announcement blog post from Development Seed](https://developmentseed.org/blog/2010/apr/20/world-bank-open-data-initiative-launched-on-drupal).
