We kick off the Drupal Voices series with a brief interview that I conducted with Jeff Eaton on the [CMS Showdown panel](https://sxsw.com/interactive/talks/panels?action=show&id=IAP0900113) at SXSW where Drupal went head-to-head against Joomla! and Wordpress in an Iron Chef-style competition.

The SXSW panel happened last Monday, and it looks like Drupal edged out Joomla! and Wordpress from the client's perspective, and all accounts from the audience vote looks like it was a 3-way tie.

This interview was conducted the week leading up to the panel discussion.
