Derek Wright (aka [dww](http://drupal.org/user/46549)) of [3281d Consulting](https://3281d.com/) talks about some of the recent and future changes in the [Project.module,](http://drupal.org/project/project) including a bit of the [plans for transitioning from CVS to git,](https://www.lullabot.com/articles/git-is-coming-soon-to-drupalorg) adding features for the [Drupal.org redesign](http://groups.drupal.org/drupalorg-redesign-implementers), and writing more tests for the project.module.

If you're looking to help contribute to the Drupal community, then [getting involved with helping the Project module](http://groups.drupal.org/node/3686) is one of the best places to jump in and help out.
