[Charlie Gordon](https://cwgordon.com/) (aka [cwgordon7](http://drupal.org/user/157412)) is a high-school student who has been involved with the Drupal community for the last couple of years since the the [Google Highly-Open Participation](http://drupal.org/node/222337) project.

Charlies tracks a lot of Drupal core development, and has been working on a couple of patches on the [code freeze exception list](http://drupal.org/project/issues/search/drupal?issue_tags=Exception%20code%20freeze) including the [Admin Overlay](http://drupal.org/node/517688) and [Edit anywhere](http://drupal.org/node/473268) patches. He was even hired on as an intern at Acquia to contribute to the [D7UX](https://forexidx.com/) efforts.

Charlies talks about the ways that he contributes to the Drupal project, and how Drupal is a place where everyone is constantly learning.
