[Bojhan Somers](http://www.bojhan.nl) is the User Experience Maintainer for Drupal 7, and reflects upon the Drupal 7 User Experience (aka D7UX) process since Drupalcon Boston when Mark Boulton and Leisa Reichelt were [first](https://www.lullabot.com/drupal-voices/drupal-voices-06-mark-boulton-drupal-7-user-experience-drupalorg-redesign) [starting](https://www.lullabot.com/drupal-voices/drupal-voices-07-leisa-reichelt-drupal-7-user-experience-drupalorg-redesign) their design and usability work.

There are still a number of active usability issues from the [exception list](http://drupal.org/node/578446#comment-2045766) being worked on in the code "slush" phase of Drupal 7 such as [Admin Overlay](http://drupal.org/node/517688) & [Edit anywhere](http://drupal.org/node/473268) that Bojhan talks about.

For more information, check out the [retrospective on the D7UX process](http://www.bojhan.nl/reflections-on-a-d7ux-project/) that Bojhan wrote up.
