[Bec White](http://twitter.com/becw) (aka [becw](http://drupal.org/user/81067)) of [Palantir.net](https://www.palantir.net/) talks about the [Workbench module for Drupal 7,](http://drupal.org/project/workbench) which provides improvements for managing content such as a customizable editorial workflow & moderation, contextual content access control, and a simplified user interface for users who primarily work with publishing or editing content. She talks a bit about the associated modules to the Workbench Suite including [Workbench Access,](http://drupal.org/project/workbench_access) [Workbench Moderation](http://drupal.org/project/workbench_moderation) and [Workbench Files](http://drupal.org/project/workbench_files) as well as integration with the [Media module](http://drupal.org/project/media). Even though these associated modules work along with the main Workbench module, some of them can used independent of it. For a screencast demonstration of the module, then be sure to check out this [announcement post for the Workbench module](https://www.palantir.net/blog/workbench-streamlining-content-management-and-collaboration).
