Cristina is a former front-end developer and designer, or what some people call a UX Engineer at Lullabot. She is also a Drupal core committer and front-end framework manager, Drupal core Usability maintainer, Drupal core Claro maintainer, and organizes Drupal and other tech-related events in her local community.

Cristina is focused on redesigning Drupal’s administration interface, including work on the [new Toolbar](https://www.drupal.org/project/navigation). She has co-organized several strategic initiatives, such as the Admin UI & JavaScript Modernisation Initiative.

Prior to joining Lullabot, Cristina spent several years in the graphic design industry, but her development career began when she had to make her own designs a reality as a freelancer. Cristina learned to code while learning Drupal and found her place in the local community by organizing a Barcelona Drupal event. She has been involved in the community ever since and credits this involvement for helping her land a job at a Barcelona Drupal agency building websites for big NGOs.

Cristina has a Graphic Design, ESDi degree from Universitat Ramon Llull and training in digital marketing and UX. She enjoys practicing sports, dancing, and illustrating.
