Sally Young -- the 'bot with the British accent -- is a developer for Lullabot. She came across Drupal in 2007 when the publishing firm she worked for asked her to find a CMS for the intranet. She went on to nag (her word) everyone into building stuff with Drupal and ended up working on sites for the publishing, film and music industries as well as Her Majesty’s Government.
A UK native, Sally earned her master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of London, and worked for the department as a teaching assistant on a number of courses, and as a research intern working on specification and verification systems. She has also worked with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts-winning Sodarace project.
Sally is active in the Drupal community, and co-organizes Drupal Learning London, where she gives informal mini-training sessions to get people started on the road to Drupal love.
In addition to having knock-your-socks-off Drupal skills, Sally is also a long-time lindy hopper and won the 2010 and 2011 London Jitterbug Championship!
