Jared leads Lullabot's design efforts, and recently helped create the first responsive design for GRAMMY.com for their 54th annual awards show. He has guided design on prominent projects for MIT, AAA, and TWiT.tv and others. Jared has led design processes for media rich, content heavy websites as well as for desktop and mobile applications. Jared is also a sought-after speaker and his talk “Designing for Content Management Systems” will be featured at the prestigious An Event Apart conference in November 2012.

Jared began designing at the age of three, carefully arranging Matchbox cars on the floor of his bedroom and creating beautiful alignments. He received his BFA in Graphics and Interactive Communications from Ringling College of Art and Design and has been designing and building websites since the late 90's. Jared has a passion for beautiful, usable design and has shared that passion, speaking all over the world about design principles, visual hierarchy, and the web design process.

Jared lives with his wife Melanie and their two boys in Roswell, GA, and when he's not designing he enjoys reading, canoeing, fishing, gardening, mowing the grass and laughing. Actually, he enjoys laughing while doing all of those other things as well.
