Brock Boland discovered Drupal in 2009 after years of generic PHP site development. As the saying goes, Brock came for the code but stayed for the community – the welcoming and friendly community of Drupal developers and site builders hooked him in. His first Lullabot training event really sealed the deal though. That's when he knew for sure that the Drupal world was where he belonged.
Brock is very involved in the Washington, DC user group, organizes local Learn Drupal sprints, and never misses a chance to attend a conference or camp. He maintains several contrib modules on Drupal.org, and has started helping with Drupal core development.
Prior to joining Lullabot, Brock worked for Jackson River and built sites for non-profits like EMILY's List, Amnesty International, Drug Policy Alliance, and International Rescue Committee.
Brock lives in Washington, DC, with his wife Erin and their dog Lola May (who is very happy to have dad working from home). In the rare moments when he's not working with or talking about Drupal, Brock likes to watch movies and ride his bike around town.
