This video picks up where we left off in the Editing with Vi/Vim video. This time we take a look at some shortcuts for replacing text, how to copy/paste, and the cool visual mode feature you get with Vim.

Just finished going through this mini series on vim. Thanks for it, as mentioned in the other video comments, you have a great voice for these types of technical tutorials. You should do the videos on the store too!

I found you series of three screen casts on Vi/Vim very helpful.

I've been toying with text editors for use with front end web development for a while. and although I've tried loads of text editors including Gvim, Gedit etc I've now become comfortable with Geany.

That said, I've always been curious about Vim, because of it's reputation amongst coders, its huge community and it's cross platform.

So thanks to your videos (Thanks Lullabot), I'm going to spend more time getting acquainted with the basics.
