Recent Improvements

Activity2 has seen a lot of improvements since DrupalCon DC (which was when this was recorded).

Not only is the API easier to use, but we actually documented it this time! YAY!

As I mentioned in the podcast, it's built upon Actions and Triggers, but it implements it's own UI in order to create what we're calling Activity Templates which is where site admins go to customize how the various messages should look to their users.
