Report from the Drupal 7 Tour

I learned more in two days, than I have in the last two years on my own. Career changing training. - Michael Sean Becker
In January, Angie "Webchick" Byron and Joe Shindelar brought the Webchick Drupal 7 Tour to San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Denver. This month they're headed to New York City, Washington DC, and Atlanta. Each tour stop is a two-day seminar — an immersion into Drupal 7 for developers, site builders, decision makers, and anyone who feels like they're going to need to make sense of the new version of Drupal. Angie, Joe, and the rest of the Lullabot team have created all-new curriculum which covers new features in Drupal 7, interface and configuration changes, module and theme upgrading and new features, site upgrade strategies, and more.
I flew out to California to help get the tour started and, as hoped, it's a terrific learning experience. Angie and Joe bring a lot of fun and excitement along with a lot of really deep, time-saving information. We've gotten some really great feedback from attendees and they seem to be getting a lot out of it.
Registrations for the East Coast leg are going fast. If you're convenient to New York, DC, or Atlanta, be sure to register while seats are still available. The whole Drupal community is moving toward Drupal 7. This seminar is a great way to get yourself up to speed and ready to start working with the most powerful version of Drupal ever.
Not only do Angie and Joe really know their stuff but, as a trainer myself, I give them credit for being really great trainers. Being a subject specialist does not automatically make you a great trainer, but they were awesome. It makes me want to attend a Lullabot hands-on workshop with them. - Susan Vincent, Lead Trainer, Softlink America, Inc.
Aside from being awesome because of the name, the Webchick Tour (Denver) was incredible. I learned so much, it was humbling and exciting at the same time. Angie and Joe are obviously Drupal experts, great speakers, and still friendly and approachable. Attending was the best investment I've ever made in my professional development. - Cindy Reeves, Reeves Digital Development
I came away from the Webchick Drupal 7 tour feeling so excited and ready to work with Drupal 7. Even site upgrades don't scare me anymore. - Nancy Rackleff, Drupal developer and devotee

Your visit to Los Angeles was a lot of fun and I was thrilled Lullabot and LA Drupal worked together to make the Drupal 7 Release Party happen. Enjoy the banner (from LA Drupal's awesome print sponsor, King of Print) and come back soon!
Would you update this post and give photo credit to Joe Chellman? He's the LA Drupal member who took that photo at the Drupal 7 Release Party. Thanks, and thank you again for rockin' it with the LA Drupal user group!

We will be releasing videos that specifically cover the material in the Webchick tour over the coming weeks. We've released a few already and have more in the pipeline. We aren't recording the live sessions, but are making focused videos for each topic to make sure it is easy to follow in video format.
