Even more Drupal info

Hey Drew,

You mustn't have listened to the podcast. ;-) We aren't stopping the Drupal info! We're just bringing it back more regularly, as the Drupalize.Me podcast, and adding additional info too with two new podcasts (on creative process and content strategy). Check in next Friday for new Drupal stuff.

Grocery Shopping

I remember the moment when the concept of an "entity" finally clicked in my brain.

I was listening to the Lullabot podcast while grocery shopping. I was in the cereal aisle. I had just started using Drupal 7 and the word "entity" kept floating around and I was struggling to grasp what exactly it was.

As I was searching for Corn Flakes, one of the bots explained it in a way that just seemed to click! I finally understood it! I remember there was an older woman in the same aisle and, without knowing she was there, I muttered under my breath "Fsck, yeah!"

Now there's an older woman walking in my city that thinks male 20-somethings get thrills out of finding cereal. Poor lady.

Thanks bots!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

;)

Longtime listener here (since the first or second episode was originally posted soooo many years ago)

Glad to hear you're stepping up the release pace on your new shows, but I have to admit I'm going to miss the theme song ;) you guys should release it. Also love the robot voice "L-U-L-L-A-B-O-T P-O-D-C-A-S-T.

Seriously though, this marks the end of an era. I think I get why you're doing it. Drupalize.me has more growth potential from a podcast, because I'm guessing the average listener is way more likely to subscribe to video instructions vs employ the lullabot team on their project. Plus there's only so many projects you can take on at a given time... But web services like this are meant to scale. I assume Lullabot isn't going away, it just makes more sense to use the Drupalize.me brand with the podcast.

Ok enough blathering. I'll listen to this episode today and maybe I'll be proved wrong. But no matter what I'm going to miss THIS podcast (yeah I'm sentimental)

Cheers,
Jackson

Zen

This podcast was so important to me when starting out. I remember someone saying, "Just download Zen and use it." that advice served me well for many years.

That intro...

Felt like such a fanboi demanding Jeff to reprise his token welcome line for each show - "It's ... the Lullabot Podcast!" in the Q&A session of a presentation back at DrupalCon Chicago.

But I'll miss it. ;-)
