I really enjoy the podcast.

I really enjoy the podcast. I never heard of Drupal until then and I been looking for a good CMS for awhlie now. Right now I'm using XOOPS and it's ok but time after time I find myself fixing it after I install a module on the site. I'm planning to install Drupal on my test site soon. I'll give it a shoot.

Why not in podcast directory

Guys,

Why is this podcast (Down with OPP 2 and its sister OPP1) not in the podcast directory?

I use iTunes to automatically download the lullabot podcasts and I stumbled over this podcast by accident by going through the Drupal Aggregator posts. It would have been such a pity to have missed it...

"Other People's" Podcasts

They aren't there because they're not Lullabot podcasts and it wouldn't be appropriate for us to redistribute other people's podcasts. But if you subscribe to the mailing list (at the top of this page), we'll be sure to let you know when articles like this go up on the site.

Hope that helps.

Jeff, heard your show on drupal on twit. Thanks for the comments! I'm going to check out drupal.

Inside the Net

I really enjoyed your interview with Leo and Amber. A friend of mine and I have been in the planning stages of a community portal for the last several months. I have been toying with the idea of using a number of different CMSs to accomplish this task and I have only recently settled more or less on Drupal; possibly using the Civic Space distribution as a starting point. I was really excited to hear you describe all your reasons for liking Drupal because they were very similar to my own and I haven't even used it yet! I very much agree with the user interface and theme diffenciency in Drupal, and I am inspired to learn how to use the theme engine so that I too may help take Drupal to the next level. Thanks for the evangalising; I will be staying tuned to what you come up with...
