Liza Kindred is Lullabot's Business Director. She was employee number three at Lullabot, and her passion is the business of Open Source.

At Lullabot, Liza helped launch the Education division, co-conceived and co-produced the annual Do It With Drupal conference, has worked behind the scenes on various partnerships, and has brokered a number of unique cross-company collaborations. She keeps an eye on the big picture at Lullabot, working to keep everybody paid and happy.

Before coming to work in technology, Liza spent a decade working in fashion and the arts. She ran her own clothing boutique, fashion-styled local magazine covers, won awards for management, and produced dozens of art and fashion-related events.

She believes that the principles of Open Source (such as openness and collaboration) not only can be applied to business models, they must be in order to build businesses that will thrive in the new business climate. She considers Lullabot living proof of how this can work.
