James Walker served as Lullabot's Director of Education from 2008-2009. Previously, he spent three years with Bryght, the company he co-founded in 2004. Walkah (as he is better known online), joined the Drupal project in 2002 and has written some of Drupal's staple core and contributed modules.

James has also been involved in the community's security and infrastructure teams and currently serves as a community ambassador for the Drupal Association. He lives in Toronto, where he organizes the Toronto Drupal User Group and has helped run several Drupal Camp Toronto events.

As a long time advocate of open source, James has worked on a number of different projects including Status.Net, Gallery, and Netjuke. His current technology interests (outside of work on Drupal) include Jabber open instant messaging and the Identity 2.0 space.
